Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal
Proposed structure plan – Lot 2 (No.15) Dempster Street, Port Hedland
The Town has received a proposed structure plan to guide future land use and development on the site. It proposes to transition the site to a planned, redevelopment ready state. A summary of the plan is below:
- Contains a mix of residential, accommodation and mixed use land;
- Designation of an environmental conservation reserve over approximately 8,200sqm of mapped coastal hazard area;
- Proposes temporary and adaptable uses within the reserve (relocatable accommodation, seasonable commercial activities and passive recreation);
- Incorporates infrastructure upgrades, pedestrian connectivity, foreshore amenity and bushfire protection.

Notice of Public Advertisement of Planning Proposal
APPLICATION FOR DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL – LOT 71 (NO. 179) GREENFIELD STREET, BOODARIE
The Town of Port Hedland has received a development application for a residential shed and a horse stable on the above-mentioned address.
The proposed application includes:
- One (1) 24m x 25m residential shed for domestic use; and
- One (1) 20m x 10m horse stables, including
- Horse feed and tack gear will be stored in the stables;
- Initially 2 horses and maximum 4 horses will be kept;
- The horses are stabled for approximately 6 months on site annually .
